NUCLEUS DX300-DB - Fully automatic, high-speed production line for the production of FFP2 duckbill masks (elastic behind the head).
Output: min. 200 masks/min (optionally up to 400 masks/min).

The system includes:

Material roll unwinder:
- Unwinder for 8 raw material rolls
- Max. roll diameter: 1,2 m
- Max. roll width: 300 mm
- Max. roll weight: 100 kg
- Material rolls are securely mounted on IBD pneumatic tensioning shafts
- Each roll is unwound by servo motor
- 4x material buffer storage to bridge the splicing process in time
- Automatic splicing device (flying reel change) in adhesive version (optionally thermal or ultrasonic)
- Automatic rejection of the splices (independent of camera evaluation)

Web edge control:
- The automatic web edge control allows easy and fast adjustment and alignment of the material edges.

Ultrasonic components:
All ultrasonic components are developed by NUCLEUS in Germany and enable highest manufacturing quality.

Domino thermal inkjet printer Gx-OEM with two print heads:
- Enables print width up to 25mm and can be optionally extended up to 50 mm
- Meets, among others, the legislative standards of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries worldwide
- Print quality up to 600 dpi
- Full integration with machine HMI

QM Modul:
Vision inspection for camera based product control
- Optical inspection by Cognex In-Sight camera
- Defective masks are automatically ejected through a flap.
The following points on the mask are checked:
- Control of the position and length of the nose wire
- Control of the 4 welding points of the ear bands
- Control of the imprint.
Inspection tolerances can be defined by the customer in the operation.
The inspection ensures that the specified parameters of the masks classified as good do not violate the CE conformity.
